What we do includes the duties of a traditional travel agent, however, what we offer exceeds the booking of travel components. We are personally involved in assuring all aspects of your trip are taken care of and make sure your trip reflects your personal desires.

We work with clients from start to finish to create a customized vacation experience that is authentic and personal. This can vary for every client, but here are the main components.

a. A conversation: We get to know who you are, and your expectations and the kind of experience you’re looking for.

b. Research: We find a place in Jamaica that is an ideal match for the experience you want to have and the authentic encounter you’re looking for. Wherever you’re at in the process, we will pick up from where you left off in the planning process.

c. Ideal Accommodations: Whether it’s a unique boutique hotel, luxury resort, bed and breakfast, private villa, all-inclusive resort, or a treehouse/cottage in the middle of the rainforest… the options are completely dependent on the experience you hope to have. We work hard at narrowing down the most ideal choices based on the criteria you provide us, and then we provide you with a short list of options.

d. Booking components: We book accommodations, transfers, tours, special activities, and anything else that your trip requires. We book flights for an additional cost, but only if you are ready to reserve.

e. Customized itinerary: Everyone is different with their desire for specific plans vs. exploring on their own. We work together to create a detailed itinerary that is right for you and plan all necessary details beforehand to ensure your trip covers all the tours, activities, and sightseeing you desire. And if you want to head off the beaten path, we give you the tools and information for that to happen, so you get the authentic experience you’re looking for.

f. Review and Finalize: Before your departure we review all components of your trip, and we equip you with the necessary documents, information, and downloads so that you are prepared, confident, and have everything you need for a successful trip.
g. Point of contact: We are available for whatever may arise before, during, and after your trip.

h. Recap: Once you return, we would love to hear how everything turned out, and see pictures from your adventures. We are looking to build lasting relationships with clients and become your trusted travel advisor.

There are often a multitude of flight options to reach your destination. Jamaican Roots Travel does not currently include flight reservations in our services; however, we can make recommendations for airports and airlines. We do offer a limited A La Carte reservation service if you are ready to book immediately. We will help you determine the international flight plan that best fits your needs and itinerary.
